We decided to build FootballJSON because it was a pain in the ass to find a reliable API feed for football data. The affordable ones were very unreliable in the sense that upcoming games data were missing, and even basic information was wrong. The not-so-affordable ones would cost thousands of dollars per month, which is way out of our budget so we wouldn’t even know if they were reliable or not.

The goal of FootballJSON is to provide a top-notch API feed for football games in the major European tournaments and leagues. Primary country leagues/tournaments will include England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France, as well as the top international tournaments, such as the World Cup and Champions League.
